Lulu Cipher ‎I MISS THE INTERNET // // /// lulu cipher | BFA exhibition the projection screen in its unilluminated state !

Vaczine Magazine #3 featured artist and luckiest named lady in the BK Lulu Cipher is serving up a very correct culture of a copy effect. She represents so many things that are still so under the wire and completely about being a child of the computer who looks at pixels the way Picasso did a canvas and sees a blistered beauty in the digital remnants of our virtualized world. Glitch Art is an almost too geeky description of a visual movement that is more nightmare noir than nerd I’m obviously impressed and if you knew how we actually met almost seven years ago in the dark corners of The Boiler Room it had nothing to do with art, just a very correct ex boyfriend.. I managed to snag 3 pictures and the afore mentioned 7 years of Fbook back and forth. I actually only discovered her creative work around the time I got the idea for Vaczine in my head. People keep asking me why my magazine is named after something known for treating disease? Because it makes some people uncomfortable or intrigued enough to think about it. By presenting the work of just emerging artists like Lulu Cipher hopefully Vaczine fills a void the more $ and faux realiti fame driven art rags are deliberately drowning in. - WC
